To turn failure into a gift, to turn problems into opportunities is an art which can be learnt. Many people let their minds wander toward the negative, which then prompts them to focus on more problems instead of searching for ways to resolve the situation and grow from it.
In difficult and adverse times, you need to check with questions such as, 'Do you get stuck on the problems? Do you tend to worry a lot? Do you tend to have rumunating thoughts? Do you tend to get anxious, thinking about the problems? Do you loose your sleep?'
Reminder is to acknowledge the problem and then shift your awareness towards solution. Think with fresh mind and focus your attention on creative solutions. You can ask various questions to yourself and open your mind. Question such as,
'What else is possible?
What can I do, be or have that can solve the challenge?
What is missing from my side that can help me working towards the solution? What resources I would require that if I use, apply, I would find the solutions? '
Remain positive, and think outside the box. If required ask experts or helpful people for the support, but don't let yourself down with overwhelming or lonely feelings. Recognise your feelings, discard the negative feelings, and replace with positive ones. Remind yourself, problems are part of life, self care and right thinking is very much required.
